На ресурсе MMOsite выложили 2 новых видеоролика из дополнения World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. На этот раз это обновленные Оргриммар и Штормград из дополнения. Кроме того, в видео видны новое стартовое меню для выбора персонажа, процесс настройки внешности Воргенов и Гоблинов, а также многое другое.

"World of Warcraft без границ" стартовал в Европе
В европейском регионе стартовало бета-тестирование новой услуги «World Of Warcraft без границ», позволяющей игрокам пользоваться аукционом World of Warcraft через сайт Оружейной или с помощью приложения к iPhone и iPod touch, об этом сообщается на официальном форуме проекта.
При помощи сервиса игроки получат доступ к аукциону в том игровом мире, где находится их персонаж, а также смогут следить за статусом своих ставок и выставленных лотов в режиме реального времени. Как сообщалось ранее, некоторые услуги будут платными – по окончании тестирования пользователи смогут оформить Premium-подписку на «World of Warcraft без границ».
На время теста количество транзакций будет ограничено до 25 для каждой учетной записи – разработчики обещают впоследствии увеличить его. Ознакомиться с более подробной информацией об Аукционе для Оружейной можно на официальном сайте World of Warcraft.

Remote Auction House Beta Test in Europe
My plan to send horde of puppies to Blizzard's EU HQ worked and the remote Auction House beta test finally started in Europe.

The World of Warcraft Remote Auction House beta test is now open for business! Once the beta test is complete and the Remote Auction House is live, players will be able to subscribe to a new service called World of Warcraft Remote (http://eu.wowarmory.com/wow-remote.xml), which will allow them to buy items; post items for sale from a characters bags, bank, or mailbox; collect gold from their bids and auctions; and more. During the beta test, players can try out these features for free, and each World of Warcraft account will be able to perform up to 25 transactions per day. (Please note this limit will be increased at launch.)

Ресурс MMOsite подготовил видео-превью зоны Гора Хиджал из альфа-версии WoW: Cataclysm. Хотя видно, что данная локация еще не закончена (деревья висят в воздухе, не везде есть текстуры), уже можно попробовать оценить масштабы проделанной работы. Графически данная версия ничем не отличается от теперешнего World of Warcraft – новых спецэффектов или водных поверхностей в видео замечено не было.

We want Demonology and Elemental (and everyone) to be brought because they have good raid synergy and meaningful dps and because the person behind the keyboard is a good contributor. Addon Spotlight – QuestMyMap
I had to level a few more alts lately and I was more than happy to find QuestMyMap. Also, Addon Spotlights are great because I can just copy/paste the description from the addon author!

QuestMyMap is a small addon without configuration that aims to provide a nicer quest map and some fixes.
Features:
- Resizes the quest map to full scale
- Drag border of the quest list to resize it (or shift-click / rightclick to toggle)
- Quest levels on quest titles
- Hides quest log and quest rewards on world map
- Moves quest selection frame to a transparent overlay
- Paste quest links from the world map with Shift-Click
- Rightclicking a selected quest opens the quest log
- Difficulty coloring for tooltips (make sure you activate the Interface option "Quest Difficulty Color")
